Frequently Asked Questions

What is the theCLICK Library?
The theCLICK Library is an editorial review of tools that make marketers and operators more effective inside Claude Cowork. Every entry is something theCLICK has installed, used in real marketing work, and verified before publishing. Each review covers what the tool does, who it fits, concrete use cases across content, research, lead generation, and operations, and the one-paste connector setup you need to install it. Browse the full library at /library and filter by type, category, or keyword.
What types of tools does the library cover?
The library covers five types. MCPs (Model Context Protocol servers that install in Cowork via the custom-connector flow). Plugins (opinionated Cowork-native bundles with skills, memory, and guided onboarding). Skills (standalone Markdown files that drop into Claude with no setup and no required tools). Pairings (external SaaS reviewed for their fit alongside Cowork-driven workflows). Workflows (guided recipes that compose multiple library entries into a complete operating procedure). Use the Type filter at the top of the page to browse one category at a time.
How do I install an MCP from the library in Claude Cowork?
Open Claude Cowork and choose Customize, then Connectors, then click the plus sign to add a custom connector. Paste the connector Name and Remote MCP server URL shown on the library entry. Complete the OAuth sign-in in your browser when prompted. Connectors that use a bearer token instead of OAuth accept the token under Advanced settings. The full walkthrough with screenshots is at /library/how-to-install.
Do I need a paid Claude plan to use these tools?
Yes. Custom MCP connectors in Claude Cowork require Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise. The free Claude plan does not currently support adding custom connectors. The connectors themselves are usually free on the publisher's side: Klaviyo, Notion, Slack, ClickUp, Canva, Beehiiv, and most other entries in the library ship their MCP at no additional cost on existing plans.
How do you decide which tools to include?
Every library entry passes a hands-on verification step before publishing. theCLICK installs the tool, runs it in real marketing work, and confirms the install instructions match what currently works in production. Tools we cannot run honestly are not published. Tools we run for client engagements rather than as daily-driver theCLICK infrastructure are labeled explicitly as capability evaluations in the editor's note, so readers can tell the difference between an everyday workhorse and a tool under formal review.
Are these reviews sponsored?
No. theCLICK does not accept payment, free upgrades, affiliate commissions, or other consideration in exchange for library entries. We publish reviews of tools we already use in production or that we have formally evaluated for client work. If our editorial position on a tool changes after publication, the entry updates with a fresh review or moves to retired status with a redirect to the main library.
What is the difference between Claude Cowork and Claude Code?
Claude Cowork is the chat surface in Claude.ai and the Claude desktop app, with support for remote MCP connectors added through Customize then Connectors. Claude Code is the terminal and IDE coding surface that supports both remote MCPs and local (stdio) MCPs run via npx, uvx, or a binary. Most library entries install in Cowork; some support either surface. The full side-by-side explainer is at /library/cowork-vs-code.
How often is the library updated?
Continuously. New entries publish on a rolling cadence as theCLICK discovers and verifies tools through a structured discovery pipeline. Existing entries are re-verified on a quarterly cycle so install instructions, pricing, and capability summaries stay current with what each publisher actually ships. Retired entries redirect to the main /library hub so old inbound links continue to resolve.
